Brits will finally be able to get a taste of freedom starting on Monday.
Details regarding Prime Minister Boris Johnson's "unlockdown" have been revealed.
Picnics in parks, unlimited exercise and some sports will be allowed under the new rules.
We can also expected some pub and cafe gardens to open up again.
People will still be expected to stay two metres away from each other.
The Sun reports that Johnson will announce changes every week as he continues to ease restrictions starting on Monday.
The plan is expected to be officially announced on Sunday.
Here's what a senior government source told The Sun:
“The PM wants people to know that all the effort they’ve put in is delivering progress, that six weeks of doing nothing has been worthwhile.
“So we can now let off the break a bit, and see what happens. If people abide by the new rules, we can then let off the break a little bit more.”
We can also expect for Johnson to push construction sites to reopen along with some retail outlets and smaller restaurants.
Chatter has also developed that schools could reopen on June 1 with a staggered return.
“We have to be sure the data is going to support our ability to do this." Johnson told MPs on Tuesday.
“That data is coming in continuously over the next few days. “We want if we possibly can to get going with some of these measures on Monday.”
