While there's still lots of unanswered questions regarding what the world will look like after this pandemic.

We might have an idea about Greene King pubs.

Greene King is planning to open beer gardens with customers ordering drinks via phones.

As lockdown measures ease up, it'll probably be easier to open up gardens before opening up the whole pub. With that in mind it makes sense for punters to be able to order their drinks with their phone minimizing contact with servers.

The plan would make sense with what health secretary Matt Hancock recently said.

"There is strong evidence that outdoors the spread is much, much lower, so there may be workarounds that some businesses, for instance cafes, especially over the summer, may be able to put into place."

As of now there isn't even a timeframe on when pubs will reopen or any concrete plan.

While Prime Minister Boris Johnson hinted lockdown measures could be eased as early as Monday, it's still a day by day situation.

Green King chief executive Nick Mackenzie says drinkers could be banned from entering pubs themselves, so only pubs with green spaces would be allowed to reopen.

It'll be interesting to see how the drinks will be delivered.
